Adoption – First Steps
You will need to contact Family Labradoodles to talk with us about the right puppy for you. From birth until the end of week 2, your puppy will be blind and deaf. More importantly he will not be able to maintain his own body temperature. It is during this critical period that your pup will never be left alone. Your puppy will be handled and weighed daily; will be gently worked with each day, kept warm and clean and safe. Socialization begins early as does a myriad of stimuli; that’s when their little lives start to get interesting.
Adoption Agreement
On this page is a copy of our Sales Agreement. We will email your Sales Agreement for signature and must receive a signed copy from you before we are able to release your puppy. Please read over and address any questions to Mary.

Health Testing
FOR OUR PARENTS
To understand the importance of proper health testing we find it helpful to explain exactly what every one of our parents are tested for. There are differing opinions as to which tests are necessary and which are optional. Reputable breeders all agree that thorough testing is essential. The major Doodle clubs require two categories of health tests: Physical and Genetic.
Family Labradoodles follows these protocols and more. Here is a breakdown of our health testing and breed improvement program:
