Hi Mary –
First and foremost, Gus (August is his full name) is an absolute delight and amazing boy!
First, the potty training, it has been so easy! You are so right that he was 90% of the way there – a huge Thanks to you! We let him out regularly and then at 10AM decided that we would bell train him so that he could tell us when he had to go out. By 10:30AM (yes, only 30 minutes) he had the hang of it. Every single time he has to potty (or wants to go romp in the yard) off to the bell he goes. We have him in a crate at night and does whine to go out, but as soon as his crate opens, downstairs to the bell he goes… Seriously Amazing!
He is great with the kids, and on his own figured out when it is play time, and when he needs to just hang out. When I pick up my computer to work, he grabs one of toys and immediately parks right next to me on the floor. I don’t have to worry about him wandering around and getting into trouble. He just gets it!
He is really so sweet and gentle and playful and loveable and so many more things! He has that old soul, that when he looks at you, it just feels like he knows what you are thinking. He is absolutely the perfect dog for us. We cannot thank you enough!

Mary, Just a quick note to follow up. Bella is fabulous!! She has settled right in. She’s doing almost all potties outside, coming when called, doing beautifully with crate training, and every bit as sweet and loving as you Promised.
Everyone who meets her falls in love. The vet said I won the jackpot.. :-).
She plays hard, and rests well, and travels great in the car. It’s so difficult to select a family member from afar, somehow I think she and I chose each other. I am in love, and could not be happier with this beautiful pup you brought into the world for me, and my family.
I have been showing everyone your website. If you ever need one more testament to you, Family Labradoodles, or your puppies, I am more than willing..
May God bless you

Dear Mary and Bob,
Opie had his first Vet visit with comment from our vet that he is an exceptionally healthy little boy.
Without exaggeration we can tell you at 9 weeks he is completely potty trained! He is a marvel at coming and going through the doggy door, his portal to freedom.
Again and forever, Thank you, the exceptional care you gave him since he was born is so obvious.
Best Regards
Lara
Hi Mary,
You were right about Ozzy-he is a sweet boy. His beautiful Merle coat earns him tons of compliments and attention.
He has settled in to a nice routine with our family. Since night two, he has
slept a solid eight hours in his crate. He is doing very well potty
training and has learned to sit and offer his paw (we are still working on
“come”).
He loves meeting new people, hind leg scratches, chasing birds, eating ice,
and cuddling on the couch.
It is no surprise that Ozzy is so great, considering he came from a loving
home in an idyllic setting. He was clearly well prepared for his new family
(the blanket and CD came in handy for the ride and transition, by the way).
Kindest regards,
Elaine & Family
Hi Mary and Bob – we are so madly in love with our little Teddy and wanted to thank you so much! Where ever we take him, whether it be the Vet or groomer or trainer–we hear the same thing–you are not getting this puppy back! He is the perfect combination of cute, smart and calm!? He already comes when called, sits, lies down and gives a paw — not to mention he has been sleeping in his crate for 8-9 hours since he arrived and has only had accidents in the house due to 100% human error. ?
With this being our first dog, we had no idea what to expect and now can’t imagine our lives without one–Teddy has brought so much joy to our family! ❤️
Thanks again!

I just wanted to let you know how smart and how wonderful Mr. Fisher is. He picked up obedience so fast they put him right into agility class. His trainer just can’t believe how fast he learns at such a young age. We are so proud of him and he is so much fun. He makes everyday start and end with a smile at our house. I’ve given your name and email to everyone that see our boy. Thanks for such a joy. We love him to death.

Mary,
Just wanted to send you an update on Duke. Such a loving, happy boy. Almost 25 pounds. Very, very smart. He learned the command for sit and shake within 15 minutes.
Our vet has bragged on what a wonderful breeder you are. Says his lingeage must be excellent.
We love him dearly. He goes EVERYWHERE with us. He has been going on jogs for the past 2 weeks and has fabulous endurance. We always have to stop him before him :).
Just wanted to say hi to his “first mama”!

Old Dog Learns New Tricks
A poem by Betty Humphries Williams
inspired by a puppy named Luna
Who says old dogs can’t learn new tricks? In just one week
a new dog has
taught this old dog
to be patient,
work less, play more, get up early and see the stars,
seek joy in the
smallest things, a
crackly leaf,
sunrise, sunset, tummy rubs, wild geese,
and most of all
the sweet warmth of
absolute love.

Hi Mary,
We wanted to send you a quick update on Ozzy. You were right, he is a sweet
boy. His beautiful Merle coat earns him tons of compliments and attention,
which he enjoys.
He has settled in to a nice routine with our family. We take two walks
every day and he took to the leash very quickly. Since night two, he has
slept a solid eight hours in his crate. He is doing very well potty
training and has learned to sit and offer his paw (we are still working on
“come”). We just got back from our second round of shots; he now weighs
13.4 pounds!
We hope you and the pups are well.
Lola
Mary and Bob,
Jewels (now Lola Jewels) was absolutely perfect on the way home. She’s already been outside with our kids and all the neighborhood kids and loves them all. She loves the mulch beds that are normally ready for planting annuals. (I have a feeling they’ll look a little different this year)
She has gone potty every time we take her out. She’s sleeping in her crate and hasn’t whined once- Fingers crossed! and knows exactly where her food and water dishes are and goes to them often.
She’s also been soooo good about having her paws wiped from hanging out in the mulch!
